We had a great time last Sunday as we spent the afternoon riding around on the back of various motorbikes taking photos. We provided our services to the Guernsey Touring Motorcycle Club (GTMC) as they were holding their 'Wrinkly Run' charity event. This year it was aid of the Alzheimer's Society Guernsey Branch and the National Association for Bikers With a Disability. Our job was to photograph the participants so that they could purchase a photo of themselves on the bike after the ride in order to further boost the events fundraising. The weather was great, the sun was out and there were interesting clouds in the sky. It seemed like the perfect evening to take-up on the invitation to get some photos of off-roading motorbikes. We met with a group of enthusiasts (nutters really!) getting themselves dusty on the dry trails. For two hours we wandered around with our equipment. The photos were going really well and everyone was having a great, if sweaty, time. The most we had to worry about was the dust floating around. Did you see the CDS leaflet? Over the last couple of days, 18,000 copies were delivered across Guernsey to help inform potential customers about CDS and the range of products they sell. CDS is under new management and they are taking big steps to refresh the business. We are proud to be helping them push and build towards their goals. This is only one element of a larger marketing plan for the company, but we like it!
On 26th May 2010, Helen Nicolle and Danielle Curry, will be heading off on a four day bicycle ride. They will start in London and finish in Paris, cycling just over 300 miles! We initially wondered if they had gone crazy, but it turns out they will be pushing themselves to the limits for two great charities; The Guernsey Lifeboat Guild and the World Cancer Research Fund.
