Softball teams from Guernsey and Jersey played over the August bank holiday week-end at Beau Sejour. Saturday saw the 1st and 2nd division league winners from both Islands battle it out for the Upton trophies. The Muratti was played on Sunday by the Island's A and B teams. Tony Seaman celebrated his 50th birthday in style at the Eton College Rowing Centre. He played lead guitar and sang for a live set with the 'Splinter Group' band. It was a great setting for the party and the atmosphere was electric... just like his new guitar! Happy Birthday! View the photos now!

The 200+ runners in this years Santa Fun Run could not have asked for nicer weather. As expected, it was quite cold, but the sun was out and the 3 mile run went well. The Santas ran from Pembroke Bay to Town Church Square via the Half Way. The event was run by the charity "Aid Reaching Children" and was sponsored by Aladdin's Cave. We recently spent a Saturday morning at St Martins football club primarily to get some up to date photographs for the club to use in its newsletters and posters. It was an enjoyable morning and it is great to see so many children of different ages and gender involved at the grass roots level on the Island. The day started with lots of rain but ended up warm and grippy providing everything needed for the ambitious driver. You will find a variety of images from different sources, there were cameras in cars and on the track. Due to bad light early on (i.e. not enough for fast cars!), the quality of some images may make enlargements difficult to produce but let us know which images you are interested in and we will see what we can do. There were over 70 cars this year and the team from M3HQ.com were getting more ambitious with their media and video...
