Due to progression and internal development, Pax Mondial approached us to work with them to create a new website. This was an exciting prospect for us as Pax Mondial has an interesting variety of offerings, which in turn create great opportunities when developing a website.

During the briefing process key design requirements where singled out – “simple”, “exciting”, “interactive” and “user friendly”. During the creative phase emphasis was centred around these elements. One of the challenges was to deliver a cohesive user experience across a diverse group of services.

The process followed during development:

• Creative concepts- mock ups generated in Photoshop
• Structure
• Final creative concept to use for development
• Coding and incorporating the page designs
• Client access to development site to finalise design and structural elements
• Final review and changes
• Go live

Four celebrated comedians will be performing at Beau Sejour in Guernsey on November 30th 2010. It should be a great evening and is part of their fundraising for The Prince’s Trust. Get your tickets soon to avoid disappointment.

In just a few weeks, the organisers of this event will also bike, trek and white water raft on a seven day 320km cirular journey into the heart of the mountain kingdom of Nepal. The highest point they will be trekking to is 3,193m. They are doing the challenge in teams of 6 and our team consists of work colleagues across the Channel Islands (4 from Guernsey and 2 from Jersey). Each team member is aiming to raise at least £3,500. They have been fund raising as a group and the team target is £21,000.

Chloe and Dan had great weather for their wedding. This makes for a lovely day and helps the photographers day be a bit less stressful. All the photographs are on line in the gallery. We had a great time last Sunday as we spent the afternoon riding around on the back of various motorbikes taking photos. We provided our services to the Guernsey Touring Motorcycle Club (GTMC) as they were holding their ‘Wrinkly Run’ charity event. This year it was aid of the Alzheimer’s Society Guernsey Branch and the National Association for Bikers With a Disability. Our job was to photograph the participants so that they could purchase a photo of themselves on the bike after the ride in order to further boost the events fundraising.

The weather was great after a rainy Saturday and the club managed to raise £1170. A great result for the charity!

We are just putting the finishing touches to Nikita and Andy’s wedding shoot. We still have the book to do, but the invites, photographs and thank you cards are completed.

The day of the wedding was sunny and perfect for the ceremony on the beach.

The weather was great, the sun was out and there were interesting clouds in the sky. It seemed like the perfect evening to take-up on the invitation to get some photos of off-roading motorbikes.

We met with a group of enthusiasts (nutters really!) getting themselves dusty on the dry trails. For two hours we wandered around with our equipment. The photos were going really well and everyone was having a great, if sweaty, time.

The most we had to worry about was the dust floating around. Anyone with a DSLR knows how much hassle can be caused by the fine floating clouds of fesh fesh. We weren’t changing lenses and on the whole, things were staying relatively clean… until the last rider was on his last lap.

The bike came around the corner, lost the back end a bit and sent an avalanche of dust and stones at us. We were both absolutely covered as you can see from the photo. This would have been the last photos anyway and needless to say, it took a few solid hours to get all the dust off and out of the cameras… and us! Luckily the Canon EOS 1Ds MkIII is “weather sealed” meaning a lot of the elements are kept out.

Dust included, we had a really fun time and will be heading back again!
