I’ve just had to recheck the calendar and use all my fingers to double check this fact but it appears correct; Enrapture is now 5 years old. I’m not entirely sure where all the time has gone but looking back through the work list I can see that it’s been busy and the company has worked on some great projects along the way.
I can still vividly remember the first day of trading for Enrapture. We’d taken a few weeks to setup our office at the Bakery Complex near L’Islet. Grant and I had been frantically getting things ready and really enjoying the time spent setting up the new Mac Pros and various other “business critical” toys devices. We had all the equipment ready but there were a few days left of our old jobs before that company left Guernsey… those days went very slowly.
The funny thing about the first day is that Grant himself wasn’t around as he was taking an eight week break to see family in South Africa. This meant it was just me turning up with the keys to my future, unlocking the door, turning on the computer and as the saying goes, never looking back.
5 years on and the business has changed a lot. Grant left for pastures new, the strategic partnerships we’ve made are holding strong and for the most part, we have built relationships with a lot of clients that go deeper than just building a website or printing a brochure. I’m really proud to say I have made some great friends along the way and can’t think of doing anything differently; well, maybe a couple of things 😉
I really hope I’m writing another post like this in five years time.
I’d like to finish by saying a big Thank-you to everyone that has been a part of the journey so far…
